Oliver D. Smith

I'm a classicist and independent researcher currently studying for a PG Certificate in Humanities & MA Classical Studies at Open University. I studied Latin and A-Level Classical Civilisation from National Extension College and BA (Honours) Classical Civilisation at University of Roehampton, I wrote my bachelor's thesis on Atlantis; in 2016 I received a Diploma in Roman Archaeology from Oxford Learning College. I've published an article in Shima, contributing to a special journal issue on Atlantis ("Submergence: Atlantis and Related Mythologies") and in 2017 made The Atlantis WikiMy main research interests include ancient Greek mythical islands and island utopias, as well as monsters in myths or folklore. I love reading about cryptozoology.
